Piyush & Drishti – Proposal and Engagement Photoshoot

Piyush was so excited when he reached out to me to photograph one of the most important days of his and his lady love’s life. To say the least, I was honored and extremely happy for what was about to happen.

As I stood waiting for these love birds at the stone arch bridge, Piyush and I were exchanging images of the events of the evening the whole time. “She keeps asking me why are we taking so many selfies today. lol” – said one of his texts as I giggled away reading it.

It was a chilly day. I stood there with my camera and lights hoping to not get noticed – ya right! My lights fell two times that evening because it was so crazy windy that day, and on the bridge, even more so. So I stood there thinking about what was about to happen. Stood there thinking how will I capture the moment, will I get all the shots or not. Will I get her expression or not! 🙂 I was dying in anticipation! And then I saw them walking over!

He went down on one knee and proposed and she said YES!! 🙂 And he put the ring on the wrong hand, but who cares?!! She said yes and that’s what matters!! 😀

And then we took the rest of the time walking around the gorgeous Mill Ruins Park in Minneapolis, MN taking pictures, chatting about their story and how they met and what the future has instore for them! What a beautiful story!

Some matches are truly made in heaven, and there’s is no exception. Drishti and Piyush have a beautiful and an endearing relationship that shows through in these photos so beautifully. They are the perfect Yin and Yang and they love each other so much. And best of all, they seemed like they were best friends! Now, isnt that the perfect love?!
